Lance Wilbanks
Vice President & Chief Executive Officer
Lance was born and raised in Artesia. He began swamping in 1989 while still in high school, earned his CDL in 2000 and drove for Wilbanks Trucking, Inc. during school breaks and in the summer. Lance graduated from New Mexico State University with a Bachelor of Education. He coached and taught Economics and Government at Artesia High School from 1997 – 2004. He left teaching in 2004 and worked for The First National Bank of Artesia as a commercial loan credit analyst until 2005 when he started working full time at Wilbanks Trucking, Inc. as the Chief Financial Officer. In 2008, Lance was appointed Vice-President and Chief Executive Officer of the corporation and believes strongly in the following statement:
"I believe people and companies are more successful when they surround themselves with men and women who are grounded in Faith. We also believe our goals are more achievable when we take the focus off ourselves and work harder at helping the people and companies we depend on be successful. In my personal life, I attempt to live by the truths that are stated in the poem by Charles Swindoll entitled "Attitude." I hope you will look it up."
Michelle Henson
Accounting Director
Michelle is a native New Mexican and was raised in Capitan, New Mexico. She moved to the Artesia area in 1998 and has over 15 years accounting experience. As the Accounting Manager, Michelle is responsible for the coordination of the accounting staff and all areas of the accounting process, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll and tax preparation, She has been with Wilbanks Trucking, Inc. since 2007.
Jennifer Thompson
Human Resources
Jennifer is a native Artesian. She attended college at the University of New Mexico and spent 12 years living in San Diego, CA. While in California, Jennifer worked as a human resources manager and paralegal for multi-million dollar, AV rated law firms with an emphasis in complex civil litigation and patent law. As Human Resources Director for Wilbanks Trucking, Inc., she is responsible for the background screening, pre-employment testing and initial processing of new employees and the group administration of employee benefits including medical, dental, vision and life insurance and 401(K) retirement plans.
Wesley Havens
Cheif Operating Officer
Wesley was born in Alamogordo, NM and has lived in Artesia since 1976. He has been actively involved in oilfield production and management since 1978. Wesley started at Wilbanks Trucking, Inc. in 1992. He worked in all areas of the company, starting as a CDL truck driver and was a truck pusher for 12 years. Wesley was promoted to Chief Operations Officer in 2008 and currently manages all aspects of field operations.
Rick Crow
Director of Sales
Rick grew up in Hobbs, NM and has lived there most of his life. He has been involved in all aspects of the oil industry from drilling, to production and trucking for over 35 years. Rick oversees all aspects of outside sales for Wilbanks Trucking, Inc. He prides himself on being able to help our customers with any needs they may have.
Charles Vannatta
Safety Director
Charlie was raised in Clovis, NM and comes from a background of law enforcement. He was Sheriff of Curry County, NM and retired from the New Mexico Department Public Safety-Motor Transportation Police as District Commander in 2011. Charlie has extensive knowledge of trucking safety based on his years of service with the NMDPS-MTD and manages the corporate and field safety operations at Wilbanks Trucking, Inc.
Randy Worley
Corporate Development
Randy is a graduate of New Mexico State University with a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture Business Management. He accumulated over 25 years of experience in the livestock feed business, most recently as General Manager of Alderman-Cave Feeds of NM. Since joining Wilbanks Trucking, Inc. in 2007, he has held various positions in the company including dispatcher, field safety director and construction supervisor. In his current position, Randy helps guide the growth of the company and develop new projects.
Tommy Dunnahoo
Lead Dispatch
Tommy was born and raised in Hagerman, NM and has over 30 years of experience in the trucking industry. He spent 17 years hauling livestock and flatbed products through 44 different states. In 2002, Tommy started with Wilbanks Trucking, Inc. and has mastered the operation of every piece of equipment the company owns and runs. Tommy is the Lead Dispatcher responsible for coordinating all field operations including rig moves and production.
John Teague, Jr.
Superintendent - Hobbs Yard
John has lived in Hobbs, NM his entire life and has been active in the oil and gas industry since 1973. He started his career swamping and moved up to driving truck, equipment operation and finally as a truck pusher. John has extensive experience in administration and bid preparation. He currently manages the daily operations and personnel at the Hobbs, NM yard.
Glen Dunnahoo
Service Manager/Purchasing
Glen was born and raised in Hagerman, NM and has been involved in the trucking industry since 1987. He has over 22 years of experience in the repair and maintenance of heavy duty diesel equipment. Glen is the purchasing agent and service manager for both the Artesia and Hobss, NM yards. He oversees all aspects of the shop, including requisitioning, approval and ordering of equipment, personnel management and coordination of maintenance and repairs on equipment.
Mike Nuanes
Sales
Mike was raised in Albuquerque, NM and graduated from St. Pius High School and attended the University of New Mexico, graduating with a Bachelor of Education in Physical Education. He continued his education at New Mexico Highlands University earning a Master's Degree in Education Administration. Mike has over 30 years of experience working in education as a teacher, Principal and Assistant Superintendent of Human Resources and Facilities in Albuquerque, Santa Fe and Artesia. He retired from education in June, 2011 and began a second career in sales with Wilbanks Trucking, Inc.
Miguel Martinez
Field Safety Officer
Mikey is a native Artesian and has been with Wilbanks Trucking, Inc. since 1994. He started as a swamper and has been promoted through the ranks to his current position of Field Safety Officer. Mikey is responsible for monitoring all areas of employee safety in the field.
Donnie Gleaves
Sales
Donnie was raised on a ranch near Logan, NM and started in the oil industry as a swamper in 1985. He worked his way up to a truck driver and heavy equipment operator and was promoted to sales in 1988. As a salesman with Wilbanks Trucking, Donnie is responsible for working directly with the drilling and production companies in coordinating field operations.
John Owens
Compliance Officer
John is a graduate of Artesia High School and is a Viet Nam veteran of the U.S. Navy. After tours of duty in Adak, Alaska, Da Nang and Chu Lai, Viet Nam, he returned to civilian life working in trucking management for various firms in California and Texas. After returning to New Mexico, John formalized his safety education at Eastern New Mexico University – Roswell, graduating Phi Theta Kappa in Safety Engineering with Honors in 2002. John was named the New Mexico Trucking Association, Safety Person of the Year in 2009. He specializes in DOT/OSHA compliance and all aspects of licensing and insurance in the trucking arena.
Randy Harris

Randy has over 25 years of experience in the trucking and oil industry. He started with Wilbanks Trucking, Inc. in 2011 and as a dispatcher is responsible for coordinating field operations including rig moves and production.

Floyd was born and raised in Louisiana and has worked in trucking and the oil industry for over 50 years. He has experience in all aspects of the industry
Kade Lucero
Dispatch
Kade was born and raised in Hagerman, NM and was a fire fighter with the Bureau of Land Management until 2008. Kade started with Wilbanks Trucking, Inc. as a swamper in 2008 and earned his CDL in 2009. He operated a gin truck on rig moves. Kade was promoted to dispatch in 2012.

Martin has worked for Wilbanks Trucking, Inc. since 1993 as a truck pusher in charge of managing field operations during rig moves.
Ernie Mooney
Dispatch
Ernie grew up in western Arkansas working in the timber industry. In 1977, he began working on off-shore rigs in Texas, Louisiana and Alaska. He then moved to Oklahoma where he drove and dispatched trucks for a busy natural gas company. Ernie then moved to New Mexico and began working as a driver and equipment operator. He began working for Wilbanks Trucking, Inc. in 2011 and dispatches all production and rig work for the Hobbs yard.

Herman has worked for Wilbanks Trucking, Inc. since 1987 as a truck pusher in charge of managing field operations during rig moves.
Tommy Skinner
Dispatch
Tommy has lived in New Mexico since 1985 and has been involved in the oil industry since 1995. He started with Pride Petroleum as a BOP technician. In 1997, Tommy earned his CDL and began hauling equipment and driving hot oil trucks. He started with Wilbanks Trucking, Inc. in 2010 has a forklift operator and currently works in dispatch.

Chris Lara
Quality Logistics
Chris is a native Artesian, and started working in the trucking industry in 2000. He has been employed with Wilbanks Trucking, Inc. since 2004 where he started as a service truck operator. He was promoted to Quality Logistics in 2010 and is responsible for gathering data on rigs and surveying the routes used to move the rigs from location to location.
